Did you know emotions can get trapped in the body? Emotions are just energy in motion and if you don't allow them to move through you (aka be felt) they can become stuck in the body.
When emotions get trapped in the body (maybe when you don’t allow yourself to feel them fully or try to stuff them down) they can cause a disturbance in your energy field which if left long enough can eventually lead to pain and dis-ease.
It is said 90% of pain in the body starts from a trapped emotion. Especially when you have areas of pain that have been there for years and won't fully go away even with massage, acupuncture, chiropractor etc. Thankfully trapped emotions are pretty easy to release, you just need to be present with them and allow them to release with your breath!
